Zeekr 9X enters Europes luxury zone from 119,500 euros

What matters here is how Zeekr brings its flagship SUV, the 9X, into Europe: not by flooding the market with cheap small cars, but by starting at 119,500 euros and going straight after Range Rover and Bentley buyers. That signals a shift in Chinese exports from value-for-money to brand elevation, worth reading closely rather than just scanning the spec sheet.

The 9X was designed at the Gothenburg studio, measures 5,239 mm long with a 3,169 mm wheelbase, and targets the large luxury six-seat segment.

The 9X uses a range-extender hybrid: two electric motors plus a 2.0-litre generator, 897 hp combined, 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. A 55.1 kWh battery on a 900-volt platform delivers 179 km of WLTP electric range and 737 km combined, with a 10-80% DC charge in 9.5 minutes.

First, the European luxury SUV price band is prised open: buyers who only looked at German or Korean brands now have a high-priced Chinese option, so refresh the comparison list, and for the first time a mid-to-high Chinese car can compete head-on for luxury customers.
