FAQ

Which markets do you cover?
65 countries across seven regions: Latin America, Central Asia and the CIS, the Caucasus, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. Every country has its own access page.
How do I check the rules for one specific country?
Pick a country or region under Import Guides. Each page gives three core facts — age limit, duty and the authority — plus the official customs or tax authority website.
How do age limits work?
Rules differ sharply. Chile generally prohibits used vehicles for permanent circulation; Kuwait and Morocco allow 5 years, Kazakhstan 10, Kenya 8; Ethiopia has banned used and fuel-vehicle imports entirely and admits only EVs. Always work from the figures on the country page.
How should I think about duty?
The headline duty is rarely the whole picture. Most markets add VAT, excise, age- or displacement-based levies, plus customs and certification fees — Nigeria's total burden commonly reaches 50–90% of CIF, and Egypt's used-car duty can run to 40–60%.
How should I use the 65-country policy quick reference?
It is organised by age limit, duty rate, clearance port and required documents, for checking a destination before you ship. The destination's customs authority or your clearing agent remains the final word.
