The MG 07 launch means a new baseline: 105,900 yuan, 845 km and 5C charging in one mainstream package — long range and fast charge are no longer a premium importers can charge extra for.

On sale from the Chengdu show on 21 August, it starts at 105,900 yuan with 845 km and 5C charging — a lower entry price widens the customer base, and ride-hailing and logistics fleets come into reach. Confirm whether both features are standard or trim-dependent, or low-spec versions lose their selling points; then price per trim against real specs.

5C still depends on the local grid: it matters whether your market has public chargers at matching power. Where slow charging dominates, real-world experience falls short — check how long peak power holds, retest in local temperatures, and estimate cost per 100 km at local electricity tariffs. Compare vehicle support against the local charger list and check connector standards.

At 105,900 yuan, exports add freight, duty and certification, so landed cost depends on destination tariffs. Build a per-trim model: from 105,900, add about 10% for freight and clearance plus duty, then choose the trim; list duty and certification separately and factor in local EV subsidies or duty breaks where they exist.
