Chery Fulwin T11 Flagship SUV Keeps Scaling, Exports Approach One Million in H1 2026

Chery's Fulwin brand flagship SUV, the T11, has kept scaling since launch and become the spearhead model in Chery's push into the large NEV SUV export segment. A large extended-range six-seat SUV, the Fulwin T11 measures 5,205 mm in length with a 3,120 mm wheelbase, and is powered by a 1.5TGDI extended-range system. It delivers a CLTC pure-electric range of 220 km and a combined range of more than 1,400 km, with a guide price of RMB 189,900–259,900. Within 24 hours of launch, confirmed orders surpassed 38,000 units — the product strength and price band sit squarely on the core demand of overseas family buyers for "large-space NEV SUVs." The extended-range solution also addresses two real-world pain points — long-distance travel and inconvenient charging — in one package, making it highly compatible with current charging conditions in most overseas markets: it is usable from the moment of delivery.

On July 25, 2026, Chery celebrated the rollout of its 20 millionth vehicle (the Fulwin A9), marking a new stage in its globalization. Export figures are equally impressive: Chery exported 943,800 vehicles in H1 2026, up 71.5% year on year and close to the one-million mark. The Tiggo 7 series retained the crown as the best-exporting Chinese-brand A-segment SUV, with cumulative global sales exceeding 1.63 million units. The Tiggo 8 family exported over 100,000 units between January and April 2026, mainly to Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil. The export structure shows a pattern of "blossoming in many markets at once," with low dependence on any single market and strong resilience against risk. Chery is also one of the few Chinese brands that build R&D and testing capabilities overseas on their own, and its localized tuning for local road and climate conditions makes its products fit end-user needs better, reducing after-sales issues and lowering long-term operating costs.

For export buyers, Chery's core advantage is "mature product lineup plus complete certification coverage": the extended-range powertrain combines range and charging convenience, suiting the CIS and Middle East markets where charging facilities are limited; the six-seat large space matches local family travel and business needs; and the multi-language infotainment system works out of the box for end users, cutting dealers' pre-sale explanations and after-sales training costs. Moreover, Chery has cultivated overseas channels for years, so its after-sales outlets and spare-parts supply networks in destination countries are relatively complete — an important plus for importers who want to build long-term channels.

Looking at market signals, terminal demand for large extended-range SUVs is steadily rising in Russia and Central Asia, with buyers favoring models that combine fuel economy and long-distance capability. The RMB 200,000-level price band where the Fulwin T11 sits is exactly the fastest-growing segment. At the same time, Chery's localization in several markets (KD plants, after-sales outlets) is progressing, which in the long run means stronger supply-chain security and after-sales capability. Importers who lock in official channel partnerships early will find it easier to obtain stable vehicle allocations and pricing support. Notably, the acceptance of extended-range models in Russia and Central Asia is rising fast, and multiple Chinese brands are increasing their investment in this segment, so product supply is plentiful and importers have a wider range of choices.

China's Share of Russia's Auto Market Rises to 54.9%; Tax Hikes and Localization Law Force Shift from Complete-Vehicle Exports to Local Assembly

CPCA data shows Chinese self-owned brands took a 54.9% share of the Russian market in June, but with VAT raised to 22% and the scrappage fee rising to roughly 800,000-900,000 rubles, compounded by the taxi localization law, the era of effortless gains from complete-vehicle exports is over.
